Sales Event Manager
We are seeking a talented Sales Event Manager to lead our sales team in delivering and executing sales strategies for our unique venue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of contributing to business strategies for complex venues, managing teams across various departments, and possessing excellent commercial acumen. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with group policies, procedures, and metrics, as well as reporting relevant figures to the space P&L.
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience working within an event venue sales team or similar, with a strong understanding of how to intelligently collaborate with marketing, brand, and venue leaders to deliver evidence-based marketing strategies. They will also possess exceptional communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with clients at all levels and stay calm under pressure.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Sales: Successfully delivering sales strategies, diary management, identifying new events, opportunities, and markets, data recording via CRM software, business development, and relationship management.
* Marketing: Working with the central Marketing team and other space leaders to deliver data and evidence-based marketing strategies, ensuring marketing strategies are delivered and targets are met.
* Finance: Ensuring compliance with group policies, procedures, and metrics, raising event invoices, chasing late invoices, and reconciling events within 2 weeks post-event.
* Operations: Working with the operations team to ensure compliance with group policies, procedures, and metrics.
