* Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 + super

At DCCEEW, our work protects the environment, supports communities, and drives NSW toward a sustainable, net zero future. To do this well, the safety and wellbeing of our people must come first.

We’re looking for an experienced Safety Partnering Manager to lead a high-performing WHS partnering team and influence how safety is lived, led and embedded across a complex, purpose-driven organisation.

As the Safety Partnering Manager, you’ll operate as a strategic WHS business partner, working closely with senior leaders, client groups and stakeholders across the department. You’ll lead a team of WHS professionals to deliver expert advice, practical solutions and contemporary safety strategies that genuinely support the business.

This is a leadership role with real impact — shaping WHS governance, influencing culture, and ensuring our people go home safe every day.

About You

You’re a confident, credible safety leader who thrives in a complex environment. You know how to balance compliance with influence, and strategy with practicality. You’re comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, challenging thinking when needed, and bringing people along on the journey.

You’ll bring tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (or a related discipline), and/or significant relevant experience, along with a strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and Australian standards. You’ll have proven experience leading WHS teams or operating in a senior advisory or partnering capacity, supported by excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
