The Wesley Pharmacy Group is seeking a casual Production Assistant to join the manufacturing team within our TGA-accredited oncology facility. This is an entry-level casual position, with full training provided.
Training will occur over 4-6wks - with shifts rostered during the day, afternoon or evening (eg 9am-2pm, 1-6pm, 4-8pm etc). This recruitment is being undertaken in preparation for upcoming cytotoxic production workload.
Key duties of the position will include:
- Performing checks as defined within the production process
- Preparing products and completing work instructions under the direction of the Production Manager (including cleaning of manufacture areas)
- Completing accurately, and repetitively, in-hood manufacture processes that meet the needs/orders of various clinics
- Ensuring completion and dispatch of orders in accordance with organisational protocols and necessary timeframes
The successful applicant will:
- Demonstrate sound communication skills and high-level accuracy
(ie display ongoing attention to detail and effective work practices)
- Be reliable, flexible and understand a ‘customer first’ approach
- Work efficiently in a high-tempo professional environment
- Display the required commitment to WH&S standards
The role may possibly also involve time-critical delivery of items across various locations/sites, so holding a driver’s licence will be viewed favourably.
Once fully trained in the production process and working regular weekly hours/shifts, a permanent part-time position can be offered/made available.
