We're currently seeking a motivated and customer focused Intake Officer to join our team, delivering high quality intake support and connecting people to the right services at the right time.

About the Role
As the first point of contact for new and prospective customers, you'll play a crucial role in shaping their experience with Livable. You will provide welcoming, person‑centred intake support, gather essential information, assess eligibility, and coordinate smooth and timely transitions to our service teams.

About You
You will bring the capability to engage meaningfully with customers, gather essential information and coordinate seamless intake processes that lead to timely, effective support.
To be successful, you will:
* Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Aged Care or Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience in intake within NDIS, Aged Care or community services
* Provide professional, empathetic and responsive first contact for enquiries
* Conduct intake conversations and gather customer information
* Assess eligibility for NDIS Services, Aged Care, Family Services and other programs
* Support customers to understand pathways, documentation and funding requirements
* Liaise with external agency
* Identify risks or urgent needs and escalate appropriately
* Maintain accurate records and CRM data
* Monitor referral pipelines and ensure timely follow‑up
* Provide high‑quality handovers to service delivery teams
* Contribute to continuous improvement, compliance and quality processes
* Uphold Livable's values and commitment to child safety, equity and cultural safety
* Ideally, have experience in the NDIS or Aged Care sectors
* Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current Drivers Licence
* First Aid Certificate + CPR
You will also be required to complete the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module or provide evidence of completion.
