Job Description
This part-time position involves overseeing a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home and providing direct support to individuals with Autism and other disabilities. As a Lead Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment that enables individuals to thrive and live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the SIL home, ensuring the well-being and safety of residents.
* Provide direct support to individuals with Autism and other disabilities, promoting their independence and self-empowerment.
* Develop and implement personalized support plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including management, colleagues, and external partners, to ensure seamless support and services.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory bodies and organizational standards.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Relevant experience working in Supported Independent Living environments.
* Strong passion for empowering individuals with Autism and other disabilities.
