The Personnel Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented NPA Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will deliver independent, evidence-based workplace assessments that help people with disability achieve and maintain meaningful employment. This position will cover the geographical location of Ovens (Wangaratta, Benalla and surrounds)
Working within the National Panel of Assessors (NPA) program, you will conduct assessments under the Supported Wage System (SWS), Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA), and Workplace Modifications Services (WMS). Your work will ensure fair, transparent, and compliant outcomes while promoting inclusive and accessible workplaces.
This is a casual, demand-driven position. Work is allocated based on referral volume, and as such, no set hours are guaranteed. Assessments will be offered as they become available, providing flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct SWS, OSA, and WMS assessments to evaluate productivity, support sustained employment, and recommend workplace adjustments
* Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely assessment reports
* Collaborate with employers, service providers, and allied health professionals
* Ensure compliance with the National Standards for Disability Services and relevant legislation
* Contribute to continuous improvement of assessment practices and service quality
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma or higher in allied health, rehabilitation, or vocational field (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Audiology, Exercise Physiology)
* AHPRA Registration ( required for WMS Assessments only)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in disability employment or workplace assessments
* Strong IT skills and adaptability to new systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Strong time management and attention to detail
* Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Willingness and ability to travel across the geographical location
* Current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working with Children Check
