About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Siebel Database Administrator to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Siebel CRM database using MS SQL
* Designing, implementing, and maintaining the database
* Ensuring data integrity, security, and availability
* Monitoring database performance and optimizing as needed
* Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies
* Collaborating with development teams to understand system requirements and design database solutions
* Troubleshooting database issues and providing solutions
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of Siebel CRM and MS SQL Database
* Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance
* Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
* Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
* Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Experience with Siebel CRM upgrades and migrations (desired)
* Familiarity with database clustering and high availability solutions (desired)
* Knowledge of database security best practices (desired)
* Experience with database monitoring and alerting tools (desired)
