Role Overview


The primary function of the National Business Manager is to deliver against company targets for volume (serving units), while maintaining approved discounts and joint advertising targets. The role is crucial in executing Red Bull Australia's retail channel Business Plan strategies and achieving 'perfect store' field targets for the responsible accounts.

Woolworths is our largest customer, vital for overall business performance. This role involves managing all elements of the Woolworths Group accounts, developing strategic priorities, and managing initiatives to ensure ongoing growth across all banners within Woolworths. The role holds key customer ownership, accountability, and responsibility for delivering annual business plan targets.


Key Responsibilities


1. Execution of Promotional Programs: Develop and implement national promotional programs, deliver promotional frequency targets, negotiate promotional off-locations, communicate priorities, maximize sales ROI, forecast promotions, process financial claims, and analyze promotional effectiveness.
2. Volume, Forecast & Trade Investment Delivery: Meet sales volume targets, adhere to S&OP processes, manage trade investments within budgets, and facilitate communication across teams.
3. Cross-Functional Engagement: Work with category management, finance, supply chain, and other departments to ensure effective operations and communication.
4. Activation of the 'World of Red Bull': Drive major account-level events, activate displays, negotiate barter deals for visibility and ROI.
5. Support Category Range Reviews: Provide insights, assist with product sell-in, and support strategic recommendations during range reviews.


Required Knowledge and Skills

* 8+ years sales experience in FMCG within Australia.
* Experience with Tier 1 retail customers is essential.
* Advanced negotiation, analysis, forecasting, and customer relationship skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and project management skills.
* Strong financial acumen and data analysis skills.
* Understanding of category management, marketing, and finance principles.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Temple, Quantium, WOW Scan, Check out & Partnerhub preferred.
* Experience in forecasting, setting, and reviewing sales targets, and managing budgets.


Additional Information


This role is at the Mid-Senior level, full-time, within the Food and Beverage Services industry. Red Bull will handle recruitment internally.
