Overview
An exciting leadership opportunity is now open for a strategic and experienced health professional to join our team as the Executive Officer/Director of Nursing and Midwifery (EO/DON) for Naracoorte Health Service and Penola War Memorial Hospital.
In this dual-site role, you will provide operational and strategic leadership to deliver high-quality, safe, and person-centred care. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage resources, and drive innovation across clinical and support services in a dynamic rural healthcare setting.
About the role
- Lead and manage nursing/midwifery and corporate services across both sites
- Oversee patient care, safety, quality systems, and governance
- Drive change, staff development, and service improvement initiatives
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
About you
- AHPRA registered nurse/midwife with significant post-registration experience
- Proven leadership in health service management, strategy, and clinical governance
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and change management skills
- Experience in aged care, acute services, and regional health is desirable
