Your new role
As Branch Manager, you will operate as a key member of the management team, taking ownership of the day-to-day performance of the branch across office, warehouse, and customer-facing operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage people, processes, and resources to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. While working within established systems, you'll also be encouraged to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and coordinating office and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations
* Driving customer service excellence and supporting sales activity and lead generation
* Overseeing administration functions including orders, invoicing, payments, freight, and delivery planning
* Managing warehouse operations in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor, including receiving, despatch, stock control, and returns
* Ensuring Workplace Health & Safety compliance across the entire site
* Managing stock counts and preparing for annual stocktake
* Liaising with interstate colleagues, suppliers, and external partners
* Identifying procedural gaps and implementing agreed process improvements
* Supporting a positive team culture through clear communication, accountability, and leadership
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience in a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role
* Strong people management and team engagement skills
* Experience operating across both office and warehouse environments
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience using sales or ERP software
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational demands
* A calm, professional, and ethical approach when under pressure
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels
Key licenses and certifications required:
* Current Australian Manual Driver's License
* Current MR Truck Driver's License (Desirable)
* Current Forklift License
* First Aid Certificate (Basic & CPR) - employer funded if not already held
