About The Role Shape Business Decisions with Data-Driven Analysis

Elevate Openway's data expertise using a combination of internal and industry data to provide regular cycle reports, support range review insights and category analysis to help drive sales growth and performance.

Harness AI to transform market insights and forecasting

Utilize A.I tools and technology to discover efficiencies in data mining and projected outcomes. This includes market share reporting, price analysis, category measures (UPSPW/$PSPW) and NPD monitoring. Use A.I as a supporting tool to discover insights and drive them into action.

The role will primarily be based at our Cremorne Demand hub with one day a week at the Clayton Manufacturing site.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Systems and reporting: circulate regular cycle reporting including market scan, scan analysis, promotional performance, forecast accuracy, category metrics. Enhance existing reporting with a focus on charts and easy to digest visual insights and provide new reporting from time to time as required.
* Approx 1-2 days a week completion of administrative duties such as organizing samples for customers, processing claims and customer presentations. Act as 2IC to National Account Manager's admin duties whilst they are on leave.
* Provide enhanced reporting of price recommendations, changes and impacts in market, with a focus on core must win categories.
* D365 and Jahan Software management: raise and receipt purchase orders in D365 and add forecast lines for requested items. Upload on Jahan platform weekly IRI, Quantium and Nielsen Data file downloads into staging production in Teams every Thursday.
* Management of data providers: manage terms and data reporting requests with IRI, Quantium and Nielsen.
About You

We are looking for someone who is eager to kick start their career with us and grow in a supportive environment.

You are highly curious, enjoy interpreting data insights that can be commercialised and are motivated to grow and learn within the FMCG space.

No experience is required for this role, and graduates are welcome to apply.

You will have:
* 1-2 years' experience in a similar role ideally within the FMCG industry, preferred but not essential
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365), Jahan, scan data including Circana (Coles) and Quantium (Woolworths) would be advantageous
* Proficiency in statistics, data modelling and reporting tools would be preferred.
* Able to use data and insights to influence and inform decision making
* Ability to develop strong communication and presentation skills
* Be able to present insights and findings to a broad network of stakeholders in the business.
* Ability to work collaboratively with others and across functions to get things done.
