Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage a diverse clinical caseload across several schemes, including Workers Compensation, Comcare, Life Insurance, and the Department of Veteran's Affairs. Primary responsibilities involve conducting comprehensive Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments, recommending specialized equipment or home modifications, and preparing high-quality reports that outline clinical reasoning. This role emphasizes collaboration, requiring regular liaison with medical professionals, employers, and insurers to ensure rehabilitation goals are aligned. To ensure consultants can focus on meaningful outcomes, the organization provides Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks, maintaining a manageable and sustainable workload.
