We are looking for a highly organised Maintenance Inventory Coordinator to join our client's team at their state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing facility in Parkes, NSW. This is a critical role that directly impacts production efficiency and operational success.

This isn't just a desk job. You'll be on the front lines, ensuring the maintenance and facilities teams have everything they need, exactly when they need it. You will be responsible for:
* Inventory Control: Owning the entire inventory process, from conducting stock takes to managing the database and placing orders. Your accuracy and attention to detail will keep operations running smoothly
* Coordination & Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers. You'll build relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of essential parts
* Continuous Improvement: Our client is looking for someone who can spot inefficiencies and implement smarter systems. Your ideas will directly contribute to their operational excellence
* Project Involvement: You'll play a key role in exciting projects, including new equipment installations and facility upgrades, seeing them through from planning to completion
What We're Looking For
* Experience: Proven experience in a similar inventory management or coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with MEX software is a major plus
* Skills: Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a passion for process improvement. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success
* Knowledge: An understanding of large-scale manufacturing operations and a firm grasp of WH&S requirements
* Technical Proficiency: Solid computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
