This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced sales engineers or skilled developers looking to transition into sales engineering. As a senior sales engineer, you will be part of a highly international team with extensive experience in DevOps and test automation best practices. You will work with tier-1 enterprises, presenting technical skills and professionalism while traveling and working alongside seasoned SEs.
Responsibilities:
Self-motivated individual who makes things happen through resourcefulness and effective time management
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required
3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or consulting in a SaaS environment
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Prior experience conducting demonstrations, training, professional services, and managing evaluations
Fast learner, not afraid to learn new technologies quickly
Hands-on experience in programming languages: Java (must have), plus one other object-oriented language e.g., C#
Automation frameworks: Selenium/Appium, and JMeter (must have)
Understanding of networking concepts: HTTP, TCP/IP, VPN, SaaS-based network & security considerations
Domain expertise in DevOps and software testing: functional and non-functional
Experience communicating with enterprise-level technical and business executives
Strong track record of success working with Account Executives to exceed quota
Preferred Qualifications:
Programming languages: JavaScript, PHP, Python
App development: Android Studio, Xcode
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
