About the Role
We're offering a 12-month fixed‑term contract for an Assistant Accountant & Accounts Receivable professional, based in Adelaide or Sydney.
You will provide essential accounting and accounts receivable support to the business, helping ensure accurate financial reporting, timely processing of customer payments, and smooth month‑end activities. You'll work closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to maintain efficient processes and strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Support month‑end closing, reconciliations, accruals, and general accounting tasks.
* Manage the full Accounts Receivable function, including customer payments, debtor management, and promotional/trading claims.
* Assist with GST, payroll tax, and audit requirements.
* Maintain SAP records (customer setup, pricing, trading terms) and update process documentation.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline; working towards CPA/CA is highly advantageous.
* Accounts Receivable experience essential; general accounting experience beneficial.
* Strong Excel and MS Office skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Organised, resilient, and able to manage competing priorities.
* FMCG and SAP experience desirable.
