Overview
Central Highlands Regional Council is currently seeking a highly experienced Construction Supervisor to join the Infrastructure team. This role involves the physical delivery and day to day management of capital works on council's rural and urban road, drainage, footpath and cycle way networks. Location: Regional, Central Queensland. Work Type: Full Time. Department: Infrastructure and Utilities. Remuneration: $47.81 - $53.45 per hour plus superannuation, penalties & allowances. With significant volumes of project work in future, this position will have the opportunity to work a rotating roster (9/5) with camp accommodation available whilst working.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervising and leading the construction team to ensure effective delivery of construction projects
* Monitor and control project budgets
* Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties
* Contribute to a positive, safe, and effective working environment and culture
Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in the supervision of a work team within a civil construction environment
* Demonstrated experience in quality, safety and environmental management within civil construction projects
* Demonstrated supervision experience on road and drainage construction projects over $5 million
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Sound computer skills
* Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers' licence
* Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or equivalent
* Traffic Management Implementation (TMI)
* First Aid certificate
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
