Key Account Manager


The successful Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.



About the Role


* This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and account management, with a strong knowledge of the foodservice industry.

* As a key point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, responding to queries, and resolving any issues that may arise.



Responsibilities


* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers through regular visits, meetings, and communication.

* Understanding customers' business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.

* Managing customer orders, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.

* Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

* Collaborating with internal teams, including purchasing, warehouse, and delivery, to deliver outstanding customer service.

* Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.



Requirements


* Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the foodservice industry.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels.

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.

* Proficient in using technology, including CRM systems and sales tools.
