About the Role
We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to develop and ship high-quality, responsive front-end features primarily using React. The role involves collaborating with product and design teams to deliver seamless user-focused solutions and integrating with a Rails backend. The ideal candidate is driven by a strong product mindset, focused on optimizing front-end performance, and committed to maintaining clean, scalable code.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and ship high-quality, responsive front-end features with React.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Work with backend engineers to integrate with a Rails environment and ensure smooth data flow.
- Track and analyze user interactions to guide feature improvements.
- Maintain clean, reusable, and scalable front-end code.
- Contribute to technical discussions and product decision-making.
- Use modern development tools to speed up coding, testing, and iteration.
Requirements
- 5 plus years of experience building modern web applications with React.
- Solid knowledge of front-end best practices in accessibility, responsive design, and testing.
- Understanding of how to work within a Rails environment, including API integration and backend collaboration.
- Experience working closely with product and design teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
- Strong product mindset, motivated by solving customer problems and improving outcomes.
- Familiarity with analytics to inform design and iteration.
- Comfortable using new tools and approaches that improve development speed and efficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
