Norwest Private Hospital is currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic and experienced ICU nurses to provide expert nursing care to complex patients for their 19 bed ICU unit. Work full time alongside our qualified team in this varied role with an interesting case mix.

With 277 beds, our facility is designed to accommodate high acuity needs, complemented by a fully equipped Emergency Department situated in Bella Vista.

Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
- Recent clinical experience in an ICU unit
- Ventilator skills in the intensive care environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA and Australian Working Rights
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU or working towards (desirable)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
- Working with Children check
