Senior Android Developer
– full‑time, permanent.
You will architect, develop and deliver Android software systems, combining hands‑on coding with mentoring.
You will stay current with Android trends, ensure high‑quality, well‑designed code that meets business outcomes, performance standards and data security.
You will guide teams on efficient design and testing practices, proactively resolving code issues and driving continuous improvement across the Mobile team.
Key Experience & Qualifications
6+ years in a similar role
Extensive experience contributing to large Android projects and teams, with insight into associated challenges
Strong grasp of software patterns and techniques that ensure flexible, high‑quality code
Proven technology experience across Kotlin, Android Studio, GitHub, Mobile Continuous Integration, Jetpack Compose
Detail‑oriented with a focus on automation, testing, and code quality
Excellent communicator, able to translate technical needs across business and multidisciplinary teams
Deep understanding of Android design principles, API design, testing frameworks
Confidence with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
Experience writing multi‑threaded, asynchronous code
Experience with server‑driven architectures will be well regarded
Ability to mentor junior developers and perform code reviews
Confident in assiting in assessing and recruiting new team members
