Offer description

Looking to join a growing startup on a mission to change drinking culture?

We’re hiring a Logistics Manager!

About Heaps Normal

We're normalising mindful drinking by brewing beer that tastes so good, you won't miss the alcohol. We’re not here to talk about being sober or hold that up as the end goal. Whether you’re taking a night off or ditching the booze for life, we reckon it’s time to talk about something more interesting. Whether that’s having a good time, a good chat and a good drink. We’re the weirdos redefining normal for the better and celebrating people who do the same.

Heaps Normal is an independent, non-alcoholic Australian beer company, brewing real beer without the hangover. As a B Corp certified business, we’re proud to be part of a global community using business as a force for good.

Our values

Shout the first round: Give first and be a good human. We don’t wait to be asked. We go out of our way to do what’s right for our team, our community and our environment.

Return the empties: We never walk past a problem. Whether it’s a spot fire or a raging inferno, we run towards the fire.

Build each other up: We look after ourselves and look out for our mates. This means investing in people, always putting family first and elevating those we interact with.

Question normal: Walk a mile in their shoes and try to see things from an alternative point of view. Your normal may not be my normal, and normal today may not be normal tomorrow.

About the role

As we grow across Australia and into international markets, we’re on the lookout for a Logistics Manager to help us keep our supply chain humming from warehouse to customer, and everywhere in between.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll take the lead on order fulfilment, 3PL relationships, warehousing, distribution, and the evolving world of international logistics and export compliance. You’ll be the person making sure our beer lands in the right place, at the right time, and in great shape no matter where in the world it’s going.

This is a full-time role and based out of our HQ in Marrickville, NSW / Eora.

The responsibilities

* Lead national and international logistics operations, with a focus on delivery timelines, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction
* Manage order fulfilment across D2C, wholesale and promo channels, working closely with 3PLs to ensure accuracy, speed and service
* Oversee warehousing and inventory, ensuring stock is where it needs to be, aligned with production and sales forecasts
* Build and manage relationships with 3PL and freight partners, from onboarding and contract negotiation to day-to-day operations performance
* Own export logistics, including freight forwarding, customs, market-specific compliance and documentation
* Ensure we’re compliant with local and international regulations and prepared for audits or regulatory changes
* Lead and develop a small internal logistics team, providing clear direction, support, coaching and structure
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, and Production to support launches, campaigns, and continuous improvement
* Use data, automation and reporting tools to streamline operations, identify issues early and improve service delivery
* Build scalable systems and processes to support our long-term growth

About you

As the Logistics Manager, you’ll thrive in this role if you’re

* Someone with 4–6+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, ideally in FMCG, beverage or retail
* Comfortable establishing processes from the ground up and confident navigating ambiguity
* Knowledgeable in domestic and international freight forwarding, export documentation, and compliance requirements
* Highly organised, with a passion for creating streamlined systems and efficient operations
* An experienced people manager, confident leading a small team and building relationships with external partners to deliver results
* Proficient in interpreting logistics data and reports to inform decision-making and performance improvement
* Able to prioritise effectively across cross-functional teams and workflows to deliver the greatest business impact
* Forward-thinking, able to balance immediate operational demands with the needs of long-term business growth
* Steady under pressure, with a practical and solutions-focused approach when challenges arise

Why you should join Heaps Normal

* One week of life leave to give you that added flexibility to live your best life
* Annual professional development and wellbeing budget to ensure you have the support you need to level up
* Access to mental wellbeing services for you and your family through our Employee Assistance Program provider, Unmind.
* Inclusive parental leave policy which supports all types of families. Includes paid leave for both primary and secondary carers and return to work assistance to match your personal needs.
* Know that you’re contributing to a positive impact. We donate 2% of our revenue to charitable organisations with a shared purpose.
* Paid volunteer time off and matched giving to empower you to give back to your local community.
* Annual offsites and regular social events to keep you connected with your teammates, wherever you’re located.
* Last but not least - unlimited access to the good stuff. Enough Heaps Normal to keep your personal fridge stocked, year round.

Feel like you don’t tick every box?

If your experience doesn’t perfectly match every bullet point but you’re excited about our mission and think you’d thrive here, we’d still love to hear from you. We're an equal opportunities employer with an ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
