Responsibilities Cleaning Resident Rooms:Make beds and change linens.Empty trash and soiled linen containers.Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.Clean and disinfect bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers).Common Areas:Clean lounges, dining rooms, hallways, and offices.Sanitize high-touch areas (e.g., handrails, door handles).Ensure common areas are neat, tidy, and welcoming.Infection Control:Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of biohazard materials.Use approved disinfectants and personal protective equipment (PPE).Comply with infection prevention protocols, especially during flu season or outbreaks.Laundry Duties (if assigned):Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.Supply Management:Restock toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies.Report low inventory or maintenance issues promptly.Resident Interaction:Be courteous and respectful when entering resident rooms.Maintain privacy and dignity of residents at all times.Compliance and Safety:Follow all facility policies and procedures.Attend training and in-service education sessions.Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
