We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Horticulturist. The ideal candidate will have strong practical horticultural skills and a dedication to maintaining beautiful, healthy gardens and landscapes for high-end client properties.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
As a Horticulturist at Byron Bay Ranga, you will:
* Maintain high-end gardens to an exceptional standard, ensuring plant health, structure and presentation are consistently upheld.
* Apply strong knowledge of Australian native species, understanding their seasonal needs and long-term care requirements.
* Identify, diagnose and manage pests and diseases using safe, effective and environmentally responsible methods.
* Carry out expert pruning, fertilising, soil improvement, mulching and general plant care.
* Assist with planting, irrigation checks and ongoing garden improvements.
* Monitor garden health proactively and communicate observations to the team.
* Follow sustainable horticultural practices in line with our company values.
* Maintain tools, equipment and work sites to a professional standard.
* Provide detailed reports about property health and conducted work to the Lead Horticulturist and Manager
Requirements
To succeed in this role you will have:
* 2 - 3+ years’ experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance or garden care.
* Strong working knowledge of Australian native plants and their maintenance.
* Demonstrated experience in pest and disease identification and control.
* Solid understanding of soil health, irrigation basics and plant nutrition.
* Cert III in Horticulture (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
* A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel between worksites in the Northern Rivers
* A professional, reliable and team-oriented attitude.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
