We're seeking a Senior / Lead Transmission Lines Engineer with extensive expertise in transmission line design and delivery to join our Perth team. You'll lead technical work on high-voltage infrastructure and renewable projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients to deliver innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
Working closely with key clients, broader Energy business and our multi-disciplinary teams, you will:
* Lead the design and engineering of overhead transmission lines (up to 500kV)
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of transmission line standards and construction practices
* Manage risk, quality, and compliance across all phases of transmission projects
* Perform QA reviews for work completed by peers
* Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers in the team
* Drive innovation and implement strategies for continuous improvement
* Establish and strengthen client relationships
What you will bring to the team:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, or structural engineering
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering consultancy or utility environment
* Advanced skills in PLS-CADD suite including PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER
* Extensive experience in overhead line design and industry practices
* Experience in application of multidisciplinary standards relevant to Transmission Line design
* Strong communication and project coordination skills
