An opportunity has become available for an experienced aged care leader to step into a key leadership position within a well-established residential aged care home located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Our Client is a reputable provider with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care. In this role, you will take full accountability for the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the home. You will play a critical role in shaping team culture, ensuring clinical excellence and maintaining strong compliance outcomes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, building high-performing teams and driving consistent results across both clinical and operational areas. The Opportunity You will oversee all aspects of the service, including: Operational leadership of a residential aged care home Delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care aligned to Aged Care Quality Standards Clinical governance, risk management, incident management and continuous improvement Accreditation readiness, audit outcomes and regulatory compliance AN-ACC funding, documentation accuracy and optimisation of claims Workforce management including rostering, recruitment, retention and performance management Financial oversight including budgets, labour cost control and occupancy levels Admissions and stakeholder engagement with residents, families and external partners Infection control, medication governance and outbreak management Driving a positive, accountable culture focused on quality and performance What We’re Looking For Experience as a Facility Manager, Residential Manager or Aged Care Manager Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and compliance Proven experience managing AN-ACC, audits, funding and clinical governance Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy and labour costs Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams in a residential aged care setting Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Confidence managing incidents, complaints, risk and regulatory requirements A hands-on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement Relevant clinical or leadership qualifications highly regarded What’s On Offer $175,000 base salary super NFP Packaging Eastern Suburbs Sydney location Well-established home with stable operations Supportive leadership environment with strong internal resources Autonomy to lead and influence outcomes Long-term career progression within a reputable provider How to Apply Apply now with your updated resume for a confidential discussion. *Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
