Our client was initially established as an accounting practice nearly 15 years ago and they have grown and evolved to be a very successful and well know boutique accounting practice of around 40 staff members. THE OPPORTUNITY
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies and trusts, partnerships & individuals
* Prepare, oversee and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax and statutory reporting requirements
* Assisting with tax planning, entity setups etc
* Assist to manage client relationships
* Liaise effectively with external and internal stakeholders
* Mentor and review work for junior members of staff
* Ensure workflow efficiency, accuracy and deadlines are met
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:
* A Minimum of 2 years' prior experience in a similar management role.
* CA or CPA qualified
* 8+ years' experience in tax and business advisory
* Excellent communication skills in dealing with clients and other staff members.
* High level of organisation and prioritisation.
* High level of time management and the ability to meet deadlines/follow through on tasks.
* A Can-Do and proactive nature and work style
* Ability to work effectively to deadlines & time pressures.
