Electrical Team Leader Job Description
The successful applicant will lead and oversee daily operations of electrical trades contractors, ensuring compliance with WHS standards, SWMS, and site protocols.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret single-line drawings, schematic drawings, layout drawings, and termination drawings.
* Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of HV and LV systems.
* Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to meet milestones.
* Mentor apprentices and junior team members in electrical works.
* Allocate daily tasks, monitor progress, and report back to supervisors, engineers or project managers.
* Provide on-the-job training and performance feedback for team members.
* Assist with material planning, ordering, and stock control.
* Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
