Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to enhance vehicle performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Diagnose and test mechanical and electrical parts using computerized diagnostic equipment.
Dismantle, inspect, and remove engines, transmissions, steering systems, and other key components for repair or replacement.
Repair and replace worn, defective, or damaged parts, using service manuals and technical guidelines as needed.
Reassemble engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components after repairs are completed.
Test and adjust repaired mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Identify and diagnose faults in engines, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and, if certified, issue roadworthiness certificates or provide detailed reports for required repairs.
Respond to roadside service calls and perform mechanical repairs on-site as needed.
Qualifications
Relevant qualification and a minimum of 1-year full time experience as a Motor Mechanic
Excellent attention to detail.
Valuable communication and customer service skills.
