What you'll be responsible for
* Helping install pipe relining materials in water and sewer networks
* Operating equipment on site (full training provided)
* Working with steam equipment and chemicals safely
* Assisting with CCTV camera inspections underground
* Following safety procedures on site at all times
* Travelling to different job sites as required
* Liaise with Crew leader and Field Supervisors
* Installation of pipe relining materials
* Handling chemicals in appropriate and safe manner
* Operation of pipe CCTV equipment (IBAK)
* Operation of robotic cutting equipment (KRE)
* Operations of steam generator and steam boiler system (both truck mounted and skid mounted).
* Implementation of safe boiler practices
* Ensure safety, quality, environmental and compliance processes and procedures are implemented in the delivery of field activities
* Installation of PVC fold and form relining materials
* Demonstrate a high standard of safety commitment
* Provide technical expertise associated with construction and rehabilitation of water and sewerage network infrastructure
* Maintaining personal protective clothing/equipment provided for safety
* Work across relining teams with a team attitude
* The ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Ability to form and build teamwork across relining teams
* Ability to train new staff
* Strong leadership and demonstrated past experience in creating safety culture on site and creating safe working environment
* Adhere to company Safety procedures and policies
* Experienced in preparing Safe Work Method Statements and
* Safety Risk Analysis
What You'll Need to be Successful
* Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma; and/or at least 3 years' experience within the water industry, in particular within construction and rehabilitation of water or sewer networks (or a combination of the 2)
* Experience with trenchless rehabilitation techniques like Fold and Form steam relining, Cure in Place Pipe UV relining, and Spiral Wound relining
* Experience in Robotic cutting techniques and building and servicing robotic cutter systems
* Experience in pipe CCTV techniques (Wincan)
* Experience in operating a steam boiler system for purposes of pipe relining
* Current HR driving licence
* Construction Industry White Card
* Confined space and Working at Heights training
* Engineering certificate or diploma highly desirable
* Ability to work under pressure and to time frames
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Strive to constantly improve safety
