Veterinary Radiologist - Perth, WA

We're hiring a Veterinary Radiologist to join our thriving, expanding imaging department—someone who loves being clinically involved, collaborating in real time, and seeing the impact of their work unfold on the clinic floor.
The work week you've been looking for
Arrive at a beautiful, light-filled hospital (yes, including a dedicated reading room) filled with art, plants and calm, purposeful spaces. Your opinion will be actively sought and genuinely valued in a truly multidisciplinary team where there are no silos—just shared decision‑making in the best interests of patients and clients.
You'll:
* Work closely with surgeons, internal medicine specialists, dentists and primary care vets to create sensible, patient‑centred imaging plans
* Participate in twice‑weekly Smarter Together rounds, daily multidisciplinary rounds and weekly journal club
* Share robust case discussions and "cool images" with other radiologists and rostered alongside you
* Teach and mentor interns, residents and colleagues
* Interpret radiographs from referring vets around Australia, making a real difference to their day and their patient outcomes
* Perform ultrasound on a wide range of inpatients and outpatients, with opportunities for procedures such as biopsies and pericardiocentesis
* Support nurses and vets in communicating results to clients—who truly value the clarity and confidence our imaging service provides
* Participate in exciting cases, including imaging for Perth Zoo and WA Wildlife (like sea turtles, orangutans and pythons)
This is radiology that's collaborative, hands‑on and deeply embedded in patient care.
Our team
You'll be joining a dynamic imaging department that includes:
* Three boarded radiologists
* A board‑eligible registrar, resident and intern
* An MIT and six exceptional nurses
Across the hospital, our specialists are supported by outstanding anaesthetists, hospital vets, nurses and client services staff. We hire for values and invest heavily in team alignment, professional growth and leadership development.
Our facilities (aka, the good stuff)
* Two fully equipped ultrasound suites with Philips Epiq dual‑platform machines
* Siemens Magnetom Sempra 1.5T MRI (with Deep Resolve Boost technology)
The role
* Full‑time specialists work 4 days per week, with no after‑hours requirement
* A blend of clinical imaging, ultrasound, procedure work and collaboration
* Teleradiology is part of what we do—but clinical engagement is at the heart of this role
