The Role
We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. As a vital team member, you will provide high-quality, safe and efficient nursing support for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening. In collaboration with Registered Nurses (RN), you will ensure all patients receiving urgent care are given appropriate care, while also driving operational efficiency at the centre.

Your Responsibilities
Create a welcoming, organized and efficient clinical environment—maintain compliance and stock.
Balance administrative responsibilities (40%): Medicare billing, accurate coding and meticulous documentation.
Perform hands-on clinical work (60%): patient history assessments, medication administration, wound care, plastering and patient education.
Support patient guidance, conduct sound assessments of inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Maintain professional standards and safety in line with scope of practice.
Document with precision and care, ensuring clear and accurate records.
Champion workplace health and safety, reporting incidents/hazards promptly.
About You
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
Flexible and available evenings and weekends.
Minimum experience: 3 years in Primary Care/General practice, 2 years in Emergency Department/similar setting, or 3 years in Medical/Surgical/Orthopaedics/acute care.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
