Overview
We are currently recruiting a Senior Systems and Safety Assurance Engineer to work on major rail signalling programs on the west coast. The company has a history of working on some of the country's most prestigious, city-shaping rail and infrastructure projects such as Digital Systems, Sydney Metro and many others. You will be afforded the opportunity to work both on delivery and client-side on various rail programs.
Experience working as a Safety Assurance Engineer on signalling projects is required, with strong favourability to those with modern signalling experience such as ETCS or CBTC. Exposure to Communications systems is desirable also.
Location - Perth, WA
Duration - Permanent, Monday-Friday
Salary - $150,000 - $190,000 + Super

Responsibilities
* Producing works associated with Systems Engineering and Safety assurance including but not limited to:
* Safety Assurance
* Systems Engineering
* Requirements Management
* System Architecture development
* Goal Structured Notation
* Systems Integration
* Develop Safety Case Reports, Assurance plans, Hazard/Safety Analyses
* Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures
* Assist in Tender preparation
* Display a deep understanding of safety assurance in the context of conventional or modern signalling systems, working with a range of OEMs and operators
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards incl. EN 50126/8/9, ISO 15288 or AS61508
* Confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders including operators, government, contractors
Required Experience
* Bachelors Engineering – Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Civil or similar
* 8+ years' experience in Systems Engineering posts, ideally within signalling projects
* Prior use of Requirements Management tools such as DOORS Classic or NG
* Commercial / Consultative acumen – confident in communication
* Basic understanding of Rail Safety National Law, EN5012x
* Sound knowledge of principles associated with the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook or iESM Handbook
