What you'll do:
We're looking for an Electrical Designer to join our Mining team, supporting the delivery of small to mid-sized sustaining capital projects. This role could suit a mid-level or senior designer, depending on experience.
You'll work closely with engineers and project teams to develop practical, buildable designs across a range of mining and infrastructure projects.
* Produce electrical design deliverables including layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings
* Develop and maintain 3D models (plant and/or infrastructure) in line with project requirements
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, structural) within a 3D environment
* Support design reviews, clash detection, and model coordination
* Ensure drawings and models meet relevant standards and client specifications
* Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and tools
About you:
* Experience as an Electrical Designer within mining, resources, or heavy industry
* Strong capability in 3D modelling (e.g. Bentley, Autodesk, or similar platforms)
* Solid understanding of electrical systems in a mining context
* Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities
* Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Familiarity with Australian standards and client-specific requirements
