Your Role as a Public Place Cleaner
Responsibilities
As a Public Place Cleaner, you'll take on a hands‑on, physically active role focused on keeping public areas tidy, hygienic, and welcoming. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
* Collecting litter and servicing public bins throughout assigned routes
* Performing spot cleaning to maintain presentation and hygiene standards
* Operating cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently
You'll begin your workday bright and early at 4:00am, finishing in the early afternoon — ideal for those who enjoy having the rest of the day to themselves. The role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and often independently, while still being part of a supportive and community‑minded team that values communication and teamwork.
What We're Looking For
* Early riser:Comfortable with early morning starts
* Team player:Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
* Physically fit:Able to perform manual tasks and operate equipment
* Tech-ready:Basic computer skills for logging tasks and communication
Essential Requirements
* Current Class C Driver's Licence
* Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or similar roles

* Package:From$63,360 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation
* Hours of work:Temporary full time (up to 6 months) 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight over a 7 day spread
