The Wakulda System is a world-leading Air Defence C2 System. It is a network-centric ground-based air surveillance and control system, which supports C4ISR capabilities to conduct surveillance and air battlespace management missions.

Role Responsibilities
">
">
1. Support execution of overall Wakulda program objectives as a member of the core Wakulda Leadership Team
">
2. Engineering management and organizational execution
">
3. Managing accountability to engineering performance to plan
">
4. Engineering teams construct, staffing, resources, and preparedness
">
5. Coordination and prioritization of management across projects
">
6. Supporting execution teams through collaboration, removing roadblocks, coordination up to the Program Management
">
7. Employing efficiencies for execution while maintaining key engineering principles including safety and quality
">
8. Manage team execution to cost and schedule baselines
">
9. Coordinate interdependencies and handoffs between teams
">
10. Consistent metrics, reporting, communication, tools and processes across the entire engineering team.

Key Requirements
">
">
* Formal Qualifications in Engineering or equivalent experience
">
* Demonstrated track record of leading the successful engineering execution of large and complex projects
">
* A proven excellent communicator who can engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams
">
* Experience interfacing with senior Australian Defence Force personnel (desirable)
">
* Leadership experience within a matrix organisation (desirable)
">
* Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements
