Salary: AUD35.41 - AUD37.57 per hour + Penalties
Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our Parks & Gardens team in Dubbo. We have multiple opportunities available across arboriculture, gardening, and natural resource management.
Employment Type: Casual ongoing – up to 6 months, 9-day fortnight
Potential for permanent role for the right applicant
Available Roles
- Assistant Gardener – Cemetery
- Duties: Cemetery maintenance & grave site preparation, mowing, planting, pruning, edging, weed control, operating Excavator/Backhoe and small plant
- Requirements: MR Licence (preferred) with excavator & digging experience, White Card
- OR Car Licence minimum with White Card, and willingness to obtain MR Licence
- Natural Resources Officer
- Duties: Natural resource & land care activities, weed management/spraying, planting & mulching, general horticultural tasks, operating small plant & equipment
- Requirements: Chemical Cert, White Card, Cert III in Horticulture
- General Labourer – Tree & Parks
- Duties: Tree maintenance, pruning, assisting with EWP operations, operating plant & equipment, general parks maintenance
- Requirements: EWP ticket, MR Truck Licence, Chainsaw ticket, White Card
General Requirements (All Roles)
- Physically fit and enjoy outdoor work
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening
- Strong teamwork and safety focus
