If you have 480V 3-phase factory experience, we want to talk with you!Who we need :We are looking for an individual with prior industrial electrical experience to travel to customer sites and collect information on their electrical distribution systems. You should have experience working in well-managed industrial facilities, be able to read and understand one-line diagrams, identify components, and describe their functions. You will need to follow safety procedures, including opening live equipment to record data.We seek someone who can work independently and as part of a team. Most of your time will be alone on-site, so you must be efficient, manage your time well, recognize your limitations, and ask for help when needed. Despite working alone, you will stay in constant communication with our team during site visits for support.What you'll do :Travel to job sites to conduct arc flash evaluationsOpen equipment and record data via photos, paper, and electronic meansRead and understand one-line diagrams and create accurate as-built drawingsUse online storage and spreadsheets to manage dataCommunicate with engineering and clients to ensure accuracy and answer questionsApply labels to electrical equipmentMaintain professionalism as the company's representative and observe additional opportunities for serviceUtilize your experience to accurately describe electrical systems for efficient modeling by engineersExperience a variety of industries, from ice cream factories to nuclear power plantsWhat you bring to the table :Industrial electrical experience or an electrical engineering degreeAbility to travel (valid driver’s license, air travel)Reside within an hour of a major airportProficiency with laptops, tablets, Google Drive, spreadsheets, photos, and PDFsProven teamwork and collaboration skills in a small, focused teamAdditional Information :Must be able to lift 50 pounds and walk, stand, or crawl for extended periodsReside in the USANo current visa sponsorship availableThis is a 100% travel positionWhat we offer :Competitive compensation based on experience and skillsHealth insurance401(k) planFlexible working policiesWe seek a teammate with values, skills, and passion to make Guidant Power a leader in electrical safety and reliability.
