Your typical day as a Service Officer may include:
- Answering client phone calls and applying debt management processes and effective negotiation techniques to resolve debtor enquiries, ensuring a positive client experience and management of the debt pool
- Negotiating debt management instalment plans with debtors and Senior Leaders
- Reviewing, applying legislation, delegations and/or debt management policies
- Using our computer systems to input, manage, and/or retrieve debtor and call record data; and
- Building a positive and collaborative culture aligned to our values and objectives.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
- High level of interpersonal and influential communication skills
- Resilience, patience and persistence and the ability to remain calm in challenging negotiations
- A working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems; and
- The ability to interpret and apply legislation and/or policy or the ability to rapidly acquire this capability.
