JOB DESCRIPTION
The Industrial /Process Engineer assists the Head of Manufacturing Engineering and Facility Manager with coordination of various engineering activities to support the business in meeting operational & budgetary targets, as well as safety and regulatory compliance as defined by local legislation and the global engineering group. Liaise with the key members of the plant and Manufacturing Engineering team to assure alignment and delivery of agreed outcomes.
Tasks include:
- Monitor, report and manage OEE. Highlight areas of opportunity and execute projects, as needed. Develop assessment plans for various stages of the employee life cycle to evaluate competence is in line with central standards (see Shopfloor Qualification & Development Guideline).
- Operate production performance monitoring (e.g., regarding cost, lead time, scrap, waste, energy, OEE etc.) and identify, prioritise, and implement production process improvements within boundaries of customer release e.g., by applying CBS methods, time studies or simulation. Define standard operation sheet, work combination table and standard work instruction sheet including standard times (e.g., by time studies).

- Design and implement overall (cross product) factory processes e.g., by definition of production concept (e.g., line vs. job shop organisation), design of plant layout (e.g., factory, workplace), factory simulation (e.g., manufacturing and logistics processes, ergonomics, etc.) or product cost calculation according to lean principles and standards.
- Compliance to established ME practices for database management. Compliance to inter-departmental processes and requirements. Local implementation of Central Manufacturing Engineering standards and programs, as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:
- University Degree in Engineering or Science.
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience as Industrial or Process Engineer.
- Project experience not mandatory but preferred. Process knowledge and experience, highly desirable.
- High proficiency desired on MS Office.
- Experience in leading or co-ordinating activities at shop floor level.
- Self-managed and organized individual, who leads by example.
