We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to join their supportive head office team.
This role can offer someone either 4 days or 5 days per week with flexible working hours. An immediate start and the opportunity to contribute to a respected, multi-disciplinary organisation that values innovation, sustainability and their team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 250 employees on a weekly cycle
* Process and verify timesheets, ensuring accurate data entry into the payroll system
* Interpret awards and enterprise bargaining agreements (EBAs) to ensure correct application of pay conditions
* Maintain and update employee records and personnel details
* Assist with superannuation processing and payroll tax reporting for month-end requirements
* Work collaboratively with a supportive head office team
* Accounts Receivable and Account Management – processing payments, banking and allocations
* Perform all duties on site in the office (4 or 5 days per week), with convenient onsite parking available
To be successful in this role:
* This role will suit an experienced Bookkeeper with sound skills in Payroll / Payroll officer with proven working experience ideally within the construction industry
* Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Have strong attention to detail
* Strong customer service skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
