Hotel Bondi is located at Bondi Beach in the Eastern Suburbs, it operates under the Maloney Hotel Group Banner. A Charming Boutique Accommodation Hotel with the local Pub located underneath, mixed with heritage charm amidst its coastal surroundings. Hotel Bondi is popular with locals and interstate and international visitors alike.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at The Bondi Hotel. Your primary role will entail managing the overall operations of the hotel and facilitating the seamless and prosperous functioning of our bistro. The central emphasis of this position is on delivering an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Managing the operations of the hotel and supervising daily activities of each department, including reservation, reception, room service, housekeeping activities, and food & beverage services
- Supervising daily activities of the bistro including compliance and regulations of liquor and gaming
- Monitoring financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
- Assisting in human resource management including training of new staff
- Initiate goals for marketing and business development and supervising advertising campaigns
- Maintaining quality service and high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies
- Supervising security arrangements, property maintenance and concierge activities
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring the relevant health and safety rules and regulations are complied
**Experience & Skills Required**
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 2 years work experience as a hotel manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
- At least Diploma qualification or above
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
