A leading medical defence organisation is seeking an experienced professional to join its Adelaide team as a Senior Claims Manager.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in law or health and demonstrated experience in insurance claims management.
Key responsibilities include managing member claims and investigations, providing guidance and advice on indemnification, formulating a claims management strategy, partnering with solicitors to support members' claims, contributing to the provision of claims services, and participating in the resourcing of the medico-legal advice hotline.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in law or health;
* Demonstrated experience in insurance claims management;
* A strong understanding of current health and insurance legislation;
* Strong time management and work management skills;
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills;
* Ability to work in an electronic document management system;
* Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
