**About The Role**
This role exists to provide innovative and engaging learning experiences for our team members, so that our team has the capabilities they require to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
As our Learning Experience Designer, you will work with stakeholders and in cross functional project groups to understand and clarify learning needs, build learning experiences, and measure the impact of those learning experiences.
You will translate strategy and process into innovative learning outcomes, delivering materials, tools, and resources to support facilitated and digital delivery methods.
A summary of responsibilities will include, however not be limited to:
- Working with stakeholders and in cross functional project groups to understand and clarify learning needs, create problem statements, gain insights from your learning audience, develop success criteria, and identify and mitigate any constraints
- Gain insights into user needs by spending time in their environment
- Collaborating with Technical experts to develop and validate course content
- Designing learning solutions that are human-centred and goal orientated
- Developing learning materials for virtual or face to face instructor led sessions, eLearning modules, training videos, quick reference guides and assessment tools.
- Developing graphics and assets to support learner experience
- Iterating and refining existing content
- Identifying, collecting & analysing data to inform performance consulting, design, development and impact of the learning experiences you're responsible for
- Identifying opportunities and problems, contributing insights and adding value wherever you can across people capability
- Collaborating with, and contributing to, a passionate Chapter of learning professionals to ensure consistent and aligned learning experiences to our ecosystem
- Contributing to the review and ongoing development of guiding principles, learning design standards, implementation methodology, tools and templates
**About You**
We are looking for a self-sufficient and resilient individual who demonstrates a natural curiosity in the work they do. Together with experience in a similar role, we are seeking the following skills and experience:
- Hands-on experience in content development
- Strong working knowledge of instructional and digital learning design models
- Proficiency in the use of digital learning tools: Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline and Studio), Vyond, Camtasia or similar
- Experience with emerging tech trends for meaningful content creation (e.g., web-based Learning Platforms, Social Learning, Gamification, Virtual Reality, Augmented reality, and HTML5)
- An ability to communicate complex concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visuals to a broad range of stakeholders
- A growth mindset of continually seeking opportunities for improvement and incorporation of best practice L&D strategies and methodologies
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working in an iterative, agile design environment
- Using data to help design the best learning environment and experience for learners
- Data analytics skills to collect and analyse a wide range of data about learners and their behaviours in order to inform learning experience solution design & iteration
