This opportunity at our Condobolin Depot is responsible for the daily planning of work for workshop staff. In this role you would be responsible for coordination of the repair, servicing and preventative maintenance of Council’s fleet and plant. You would also assist staff to perform repairs and servicing when required. The Workshop Supervisor/ Mechanic also gives direction, instruction and training to other workshop staff and apprentices, and liaises with plant operators to schedule repairs and services. Council has a diverse fleet of cars, trucks, mobile plant and small plant items, so the role offers plenty of variety and is an opportunity to step into a supervisory role.
To be successful, you will need relevant qualifications and experience in a related field. You also need to be able to communicate well and work effectively in a team environment.
