We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will design and implement advanced business intelligence tools and analytics frameworks that enable the commercial finance team and other stakeholders to make informed decisions.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role where you will work closely with stakeholders to scope, develop and implement robust solutions with a focus on automation and self-serve capabilities. You will also contribute to the stability of solutions during key reporting periods by debugging and working across teams to resolve root cause issues.
You will support maintenance & enhancement of existing data models, processes and dashboard reporting. Additionally, you will work with IT data services to design data lakes and data models based on business requirements. Ensuring solutions are properly documented on agreed enterprise platforms is also part of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in BI tools (preferably Looker, LookerML, Looker Studio), SQL, Python and Alteryx with proven skill in writing and executing optimized queries in Google BigQuery. Any experience with machine learning is desired.
You should be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will design, develop, maintain scaled, automated reports and dashboards that will support commercial finance teams with their key stakeholders across strategic growth deliverables.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record working on initiatives that start only with a defined outcome. You will be comfortable taking defined outcomes and converting into necessary requirements and work actions.
