About the role
Join our dynamic Revenue Services Team as a valued Accounts Receivable Officer. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple campuses and a proactive approach to process improvement. You will handle a variety of financial tasks, including cashiering, invoicing, and reconciliations. Working closely with Admissions staff and Patient Liaison Officers, you will ensure accurate billing and assist in resolving payment discrepancies and health fund claims.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payments and receipts, including operating a Cashier window.
* Reconcile floats and prepare banking transactions.
* Generate accurate invoices for hospital goods and services.
* Investigate and follow up on short payments, overpayments, and health fund rejections.
Required Qualifications
* Previous experience with Cash Handling.
* An understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Demonstrated accurate and speedy data entry skills.
* Demonstrated use of MS Office with high level skills in the use of excel.
* Previous experience in an accounts receivable role highly regarded.

Salary and terms will be in accordance with the relevant state EBA or Award.
