Job Description
Everest Eatery Hobart Chef (Full-Time) Everest Eatery Hobart is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our team in Hobart.
This is a full-time position offering an annual salary between $80,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation. Key Responsibilities: Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs
Order and manage food supplies Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Liaise with Managers, Dietitians, kitchen and waiting staff regarding food preparation
Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on preparation procedures Prepare and cook a variety of dishes Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Train and supervise kitchen staff where required Preserve and store food appropriately Requirements:
At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Chef Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or related field Strong knowledge of food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Employment Details:
