DevOps Engineer
Employment: Full Time Opportunity Until June 2028. Clerk Grade: 7/8 Salary Range: $113,574 - $125,720 base plus super Location flexible across Revenue NSW offices with hybrid working
About the role
An exciting opportunityexiststo join our DevOps team to work across a range of IT and digital projects.
Key responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively within the Development Operations (DevOps) team and broader Revenue Digital and Department of Customer Service teams
* Work within a large AWS enterprise environment
* Maintain existing non-cloud native platforms and releases to controlled environments
* Support batch processes, build and release tools, monitoringand alerting
* Contribute to the build of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
* Support DevOps culture, platformsand processes
* Work with the latest DevOps technologies and tools
Qualifications and experience required
* Cloud and non-cloud environments including AWS
* GitLab, Bamboo, Subversion, within an agile environment
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
* Automation through pipelines and scripting
* Atlassian tool suite including Jira and Confluence
* Containerisation e.g., Docker, AWS ECS
* Shell scripting on *nix
* Database - SQL, Oracle, PostGres
* Knowledge of development environments such as Python, PHP, Java
* Batch scheduling via AutoSys
* Knowledge of Unix and Windows
* Exposure to Splunk and Pager Duty
* AWS Cloud Certification or willingness to attainis desirable
