Hofmann Engineering, located in Bendigo, is actively searching for a highly skilled and motivated Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to become an integral part of our expanding team. We are specifically seeking an individual with proven experience in the field. About you
* Have well-developed organisational and/or project management skills including ability to manage conflicting priorities and high work volumes without affecting quality of service delivery
* Excellent demonstrated communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with all stakeholders of various levels
* Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Persistent and considered approach to delivering outcomes within highly complex environments.
The role
* Representing the company in a professional manner, carrying out all business dealings to the highest ethical standards.
* Conduct a variety of non-destructive tests (e.g., Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection & Penetrant testing) on materials, components, and structures.
* Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with industry codes, standards, and customer specifications.
* Perform routine equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
* Generate detailed inspection reports documenting findings, procedures, and recommendations.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
* Stay current with industry advancements, techniques, and tools to enhance NDT capabilities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years' proven experience as an NDT Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
* AINDT or BINDT (PCN) Level 2 or equivalent in Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection & Penetrant testing is essential
* Outstanding Good verbal, written and computing skills
* International Welding technologist (IWT) or International Welding Specialist (IWS) would be highly advantageous but not essential

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, have good communication skills and keen to work as a flexible team member. Additional skills and qualifications will be highly regarded. Training in workplace safety and our business management systems will be an ongoing process.
