Do Work That Matters As a Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Balance Sheet Resilience and Decision Support to develop, implement, and embed CBA’s Resolution Plan and strategy as required by APRA’s CPS 900. This involves engaging with senior stakeholders across the Group to facilitate analysis and changes, ensuring the Group can be resolved in an orderly manner and meet regulatory requirements. You will work with regulators and the business to support the development and embedding of the Resolution Plan within the Group’s frameworks. You will make a significant impact by driving outcomes, shaping frameworks, and influencing decision-making at the highest levels. The role requires managing an ongoing project with regulatory deliverables, building strong relationships across the Group, and problem-solving to address new regulatory requirements. See Yourself in Our Team Key responsibilities include: End-to-end project governance ensuring timely delivery of commitments and addressing regulatory/compliance obligations. SME for CPS900 (Resolution Planning), supporting the Group in meeting compliance obligations. Coordinate and collect information from key stakeholders to support the implementation of resolution planning under CPS 900. Prepare materials to support the development of the Resolution Plan, including drafting documents, board papers, and presentations to senior stakeholders. Keep abreast of regulation changes and industry best practices. Support relevant regulatory authorities in the implementation of CPS 900 for the Group. Drive changes required to meet CPS900 requirements, including implementing pre-positioning changes and embedding review and maintenance of the resolution plan. Adhere to the Code of Conduct, which sets the standards of behaviour, actions, and decisions we expect from our people. We’re Interested in Hearing from People Who Have: Proven track record in building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work autonomously, proactively identify issues, and escalate when necessary. Critical thinking skills to propose solutions to new challenges. Experience managing large-scale projects and coordinating complex deliverables. Strong knowledge of controls and assurance frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting board papers and regulatory communication. Ability to interpret and implement standards and frameworks, with knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (e.g., CPS900, CPS190) preferred. Knowledge of treasury, including capital and liquidity management. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint. Knowledge of banking products and systems (preferred). Risk mindset – proactively identify, understand, discuss, and act on current and future risks. Highly organised, resilient, and thrive in ambiguity. Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or an equivalent business-related discipline. Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
